Katannuta was born of a need to recognize and be grateful for people and events that play a role in our daily lives. Derived from a Pali (Buddhist) word, "Katannuta" translates as "gratitude" in English and refers to knowing and recognizing with gratitude that which has been done.

Katannuta is the brain child of Davina Toale and Clare Appleyard. Following the success of Pressure Points, a company specialising in Indian Head Massage for corporate wellness programmes, Katannuta was developed to enable corporate companies to reward and express gratitude to performing employees in a unique manner. By offering companies a variety of gemstones (diamonds, tanzanite, sapphires and so forth) in association with custom designed jewellery, companies can now afford to incentivise and reward employees according to individual requirements.

As a trained geologist with 6 years working experience within diamond giant De Beers, Clare has a strong technical background and knowledge of diamonds. She has transferred her passion for diamonds and now jewellery into the corporate domain. Over the past few years Clare has been assisting clients in choosing quality gemstones and jewellery designs to match their personal taste and budget constraints. Clare is now offering her expertise and knowledge to both corporate companies and individual clients.

Katannuta aims to become a nationwide provider of quality gemstone and jewellery incentives to corporate companies. We also provide individual clients with an opportunity to order and purchase quality, unique tailor-made jewellery. We have an established client base built on trust, customer satisfaction, personal interaction and outstanding value for money.
